Hello, everyone, Without any changes on my end, DSD Plus suddenly stopped displaying the "audio input device". It still decodes, but there is no audio output to the speakers. I have already reinstalled both my sound drivers and VB-Cable. Below are screenshots of the .bat files and the program...
He had so much input and pre-amp gain running that when he was playing, he got that great sound, but as soon as he stopped it went into feedback from all the gain. The 880 does something similar in that when a station that's been full-quieting shuts off, the receiver starts roaring static.
Video below of Big Clive dissecting a stereo isolation transformer. Similar ones were sold by Radio Shack and likely still available. One of these can serve two receivers and two sound car inputs. Note the beefy transfromers inside. There are cheap tiny versions on Amazon that are probably junk and may not actually have transformers inside, just capacitors to lift the voltage from the audio ...
Input is the repeater receive frequency and the user radio transmit frequency. Output is the repeater transmit frequency and the user radio receive frequency. In Baofeng radio menus: T-DCS is transmit DCS (or DPL) T-CTCS transmit CTCSS (or PL) R-DCS is receive DCS R-CTCS is receive CTCSS Click to expand...
Make sure Input Frequencies "Shown" is chosen at the drop down here View attachment 104474 Yes I did do that and it shows 460.325 as the dispatch, and 465.325 as the input, but the latter is an open frequency, there's a carrier but no audio, and it locks open the squelch.
The nominal input level is 80mVrms for 60% deviation when used for motorcycle, but can also support 300 mVrms for future APCO accessories. The DC impedance is 660 ohms and the AC impedance is 560 ohms. (6) See Table 2-1 in Chapter 2 for wiring options.
STDIN input working Beefier Sound (my Personal Biased opinion) PortAudio Currently disabled (still need to test), OSS removed (including Solaris and Apple/BSD) Monitor Source Audio currently disabled (latency/buffering/pulse server crashing issue) First, install prerequisites if you haven't built any variety of DSD before.
DSDPlus is not finding audio input devices on startup, only audio output devices ????? Any ideas how to fix it to find the audio input devices (the VB Cable Output device)?
Maybe dumb question, but I'm trying to program Dallas County Skywarn frequencies in my scanner and in the RR database there are Input and Output frequencies listed. Which do I program? Is Output if I were "Transmitting"? Any thoughts? Thanks.
Plug it into the AUX input (Line In) on the back of your desktop, usually colored BLUE. It should also work with the Mic input on the back or front of the PC but Aux/Line In is preferred . Plug the other end into your scanner's audio output. Go into Windows Sound Settings (Settings/System/Sound) and make sure the correct input is selected.
